A lightning rod—also known as an air terminal or strike termination device—is the first component of any external lightning protection system (LPS). Our lightning rods are manufactured from high-purity copper, aluminum, or stainless steel to meet IEC 62305, NFPA 780, and UL 96A standards. Unlike decorative or undersized rods, our products feature a corrosion-resistant base, precision-machined tip radius (for corona suppression), and a robust mounting flange suitable for flat roofs, chimneys, towers, and domed structures. We offer both traditional Franklin rods (passive capture) and Early Streamer Emission (ESE) rods (active triggering with advanced electronic timing circuits). Each rod is factory-tested for impulse current handling up to 200kA (10/350 μs waveform) and comes with a 10-year warranty against material defects. For critical infrastructure—airports, data centers, petrochemical plants—our ESE rods provide a larger protected radius (up to 120 meters) with documented laboratory test reports.
